Things are really starting to heat up around here! Our brokers worked hard to close more than $19 million in transactions last month, including many investment sales and a few redevelopment properties. Read on to find out what they have been up to.

Blake Crowe, CCIM and Joseph Sedita represented the owner in the sale of the 64,000 SF former Jefferson Furniture building at 1716 2nd Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama. Stephen Lazarus represented the buyer. Crowe and Sedita also represented the owner in the sale of the 30,000 SF Land Title Building at 600 20th Street North in Birmingham, Alabama.

John Lauriello, CCIM, SIOR and Blake Crowe, CCIM  represented the landlord in the leasing of 2,200 SF to Canary Gallery, an art gallery, at the Wheelock Building at 2201 2nd Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama. Lauriello and Crowe also represented Hollywood Pools, an outdoor furniture store, in the leasing of 2,500 SF at Brook Highland shopping center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Ashford also represented the landlord in the leasing of 415 SF of office space at the Massey Building in Birmingham, Alabama. Ashford also represented the landlord in the leasing of 1,250 SF to a women’s boutique at West Valley Plaza shopping center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Steve Mordecai represented the owner in the sale of 145 acres at Eagle Point Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. Mordecai also represented the owner in the sale of five acres at 3251 27th Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama.

Andrew Loveman, CCIM represented the owner in the sale of a 58,456 SF shopping center at 412 Main Street in Opp, Alabama.

Rich Vanchina, CCIM, SIOR represented the landlord in the leasing of 15,500 SF to Strata Solar at 1409 Commerce Boulevard in Anniston, Alabama. Vanchina also represented the landlord in the lease renewal of 30,000 SF to Birmingham Packers, LLC at 2547 Commerce Circle in Tarrant, Alabama. Vanchina also represented the landlord in the leasing of 5,000 SF to 31W Insulation Company at 910 Powder Plant Road and 5,000 SF to Compliance Staffing Agency at 920 Powder Plant Road in Bessemer, Alabama.

Michael Perry represented the buyer in the purchase of a 14,600 SF retail property at 1104 2nd Avenue East in Oneonta, Alabama.

Joseph Sedita represented the owner in the sale of a 6,000 SF retail property to an investor at 605 Springville Road in Center Point, Alabama. Sedita also represented the owner in the sale of a 4,500 SF office building at 9002 Parkway East in Birmingham, Alabama.

Blake Crowe, CCIM and Andrew Loveman, CCIM  represented the owner in a lease renewal of 8,350 SF of office space to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. at 2200 Woodcrest Place in Birmingham, Alabama.

Greg Despinakis represented the landlord in the leasing of 6,000 SF of warehouse space to Legendary Enterprises at 1201 3rd Avenue North in Birmingham, Alabama.
